Public Transportation in Portland
Portland, Oregon has an excellent public transportation system. It is usually referred to as the TriMet. It includes buses, trains, bicycle paths, and a streetcar. Using TriMet within certain boundaries of downtown Portland is free. The Portland Public Transportation system can get you nearly anywhere in the city and is a very useful planning tool for anyone coming to the city.
